Benefit for Jason |
Saturday, March 24th, 2001 a benefit was held at Whiskey Dick's for San Jacinto High Roller Jason Ward, of the Northwest Houston chapter. Jason was hit broadside by a truck September 29, 2000, during Northwest's annual chapter ride to Rio Frio. That incident landed him in a San Antonio hospital for three weeks, followed by several months of rehabilitation on his left leg. Jason is doing much better now and no longer requires a wheel chair or crutches. He is able to ride again, albeit for short periods due to the swelling in his leg. The benefit at Whiskey Dick's will help pay some of his medical costs and expensive physical therapy. Thanks to all who turned out!
